Porter County Superior Court #1 requires a judge who treats everyone fairly, makes timely and correct decisions, and earns your respect. For someone who focuses on people first and truly cares for our community, look no further. Vote Mike Fish.
Practicing law in Porter County the past 21 years, Mike has considerable experience in civil litigation, bankruptcy, family law, business and construction cases, criminal defense and military prosecutions. Mike frequently serves as a temporary judge when one of the Porter County Judges or Magistrates is unavailable. This practical time "on the bench" benefits Mike significantly as a future judge.
Mike began his military service in the Indiana Army National Guard 31 years ago as an Air Cavalry helicopter refueler. Since 2002, he serves in the Army JAG Corps advising Commanders on complex legal issues. Mike deployed on a combat tour in Afghanistan in 2009-10, served in the Middle East from July 2019 to March 2020, and trained with Australian Defense Forces, Indonesian National Military-Land Forces and the Japan Self-Defense Forces throughout the Indo-Pacific in 2018.
As a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate, Mike fights for the best interests of children within the legal system. Mike regularly accepts pro bono cases to help folks who cannot afford an attorney. Mike previously volunteered his time as a youth sports coach and helped protect families as an Officer of the Family House Board.
